Hello guys,
Do any of y'all run .40sw barrels in a Glock 33,32 or 31? I have a 33 and want to get a .40sw barrel but do not want to lose and fingers, or worse. Is it safe? Same dimensions on the slides? Thanks!

A quick search online shows that a standard G27 barrel will work fine in a G33 keeping all the other parts the same.

its fine. i have a .40 and a 9mm conversion barrel from lonewolf for my g31c .357sig
you could use glock oem .40 barrels too but i dont see the point. they dont provide a fully supported chamber plus you cant shoot lead through them.

I appreciate the input guys. I have attempted the google searches and turned up quick videos of these barrels being run in the weapon just fine, as well as, people on forums saying it is good but, you folks shoot, a lot. You guys also seem to have the technical aspects in mind. Wall thickness and other factors surely come into play. I have the 9mm barrel from lone wolf but, have yet to fire it. I want to ensure this can be done safely and reliably.

Yes it works and it is safe. Lone wolf also makes conversion barrels for 40/357sig to 9mm. Add a glock 9mm mag and you are gtg

I'm a big fan of conversion barrels.
I have a Glock 22 with .40,.357 & 9mm barrels.

I have toyed with the idea of getting a 10mm barrel and mags for my 30 and turning it into a "29", but then yet another caliber of ammo to pile up.

I have shot with all the barrels, but I think it's a more "just in case" thing.
The idea of being able to fire 3 calibers out of the same gun was/is very intriguing to me.
I figure that if I'm ever in a bad situation, I can use any caliber I can get.

Add the 22 conversion and make it four! :D

The Lone Wolf barrels are very good for caliber conversions.
I have a G21 and shoot 45acp, 10mm, 40sw, and 357sig.

Would have guessed the wide frame of the 20-21 and 29-30 would not accept magazines for 40SW and 357Sig.
Of course recoil springs have to be swapped, right? The springs are the same for the 29-30 at least I am led to believe.

The 10mm mags hold the 40sw and 357 sig.
The barrels for the G20 fit in the G21. Need to file the extractor for reliability.

i use an extra heavy 22lb recoil spring with a harrts mercury filled guide rod, stock g21 extractor, PLUS i have a 6 inch slide to boot..and somehow i get 95%+ reliability shooting .40 out of my g21 with g20 kkm barrel. i thought for sure id need to buy a new recoil spring and possibly swap out the extractor. :o
