Title: Silver Bugs
Post by: Jaydawg on November 23, 2011, 10:36:35 AM
I haven't seen any pre-65 nickels in my change pocket in awhile.

I'd appreciate any referrals to local companies and/or any online places that sell 1 oz rounds, coins, etc.

Post your personal experiences here as well.

Swapmeet on sundays, usually got a few stands selling silver.

Online you can try Leer Capitol(sp?).

Hey, if any of you have piles of that old junk silver lying around, taking up space and whatnot, I will happily take it off your hands.  Heck, I'll even pay you face value for it, despite its age and decrepitude.

I have 500 rounds of 9mm Winchester Silver Tips.  Was saving it for a werewolf/vampire invasion.

+1 for apmex.  Steer clear of Lear Capital.

Silver bullets are for werewolves.  Vampires are best addressed with wooden arrows from a crossbow, 'cause it's really hard to get close enough to drive a wooden stake through the heart without getting bit.....

www.bulliondirect.com (http://www.bulliondirect.com) - you can buy their silver, gold, platinum coins/rounds or buy/sell on their Nucleo exchange.  They ship via insured USPS priority mail for a very reasonable cost.

I think that they have the lowest prices on the net including their shipping cost.

Studies show cherry wood to be superior to walnut for vampires.

Surprisingly, pine rates high as well.

In all my years actually knowing the value of silver and pre 65 coins... never have I seen one yet as actual change, that I got anyway...  I wish!

Silver is going down.... maybe time to pick up some more... ???

I would say maybe. It depends how you feel about who is going to get elected. I would guess if BHO gets re-elected then we will get more of the same and silver will more than likely go up. If MR gets elected I would venture to guess it will go down even more in the near term. In the long term it would depend if he is a real reformer or just another "More of the Same" type of politician. FWIW I suspect the latter.

My parents live in MA, and suffered through Rmoney's tenure as Governor.  Besides being anti-gun, the Mittens actually invented the system (forcing everyone to buy health insurance from a big corporation) that is now called "Obamacare"

i recommend http://www.aliicoins.com/ (http://www.aliicoins.com/)
he's directly across the walkway from STA tactical in Kaneohe.
he's got a vast inventory and fair prices... (no shipping, cash and carry).  along with an interesting bid type system for things on consignment.
