And here we go fellow 2A brothers & sisters! We've been dying to make this happen for everyone and we are finally ready to go!!!
Saturday July 9th
Check in is at 7pm and stage briefing follows at 7:30
COST: $55.00
Cost includes ammo, use of stage guns, targets and props. HDF,MPPL,HPS,HRA members can get $5 off by showing their current membership card. Since stage guns and ammo will be provided and for safety, no outside firearms or ammunition will be allowed in our facility and bags are subject to inspection.
Courses can be USPS/IDPA/3Gun style stages with scoring being raw time plus penalties. By using stage guns and ammo provided it offers a level playing field and participants do not have to worry about traveling with firearms in their schedule. Participants only need to bring clear/Yellow eye protection and may bring ear pro but is not required due to marking cartridges being within safe levels.
This first ever Simunition match has three "Force On Target" stages that includes:
One “black out” stage shot in the dark with use of a weapon light
One Multi Gun stage
One IDPA/CCW themed stage
ONLY 20 Spots available, sign ups are done by emailing Admin@KMConceptsHawaii.com
Payment will be required within 72hrs of our confirmation email or you risk your spot being forfeited. Match payments are nonrefundable but may be transferred once to another event if you cannot attend (due to an emergency with prior notice).
Further information will be sent with confirmation.

Awesome! I didn't even know they could get simmunitions outside of law enforcement.
This is excellent training, getting shot at knowing you might get hit by something that does actually hurt brings such training much closer to what someone may face in a real life situation.

We are a Simunition Approved Range for Hawaii. If you've been (and I believe you have) to one of our classes before ,you know we are all about trying to deliver a very high quality educational experience to our clients. This one will be a great tool for skill building, not to mention it's going to be tons o fun as well . Hope you can make it.

haha yep competitors this time. So to clear up some confusion. Simunition is not paintball nor airsoft. You will be using actual firearms that will be properly "converted" for use with Simunition marking cartridges. That means any firearm manipulation, or firearm malfunctions are going to be treated EXACTLY as if you would a normal firearm. This is what makes Simunition based training/usage sugh a great tool, it keeps it as close to real as you can get. The response has been great and we still have open spots available for the 9th. Feel free to contact us with any other questions guys!

My bad. Somehow when I hear simulated (simunition) I always associate with training. Is this for IDPA or 3 gun guys? I haven't shot those competitions.

It's not limited towards competitive shooters at all. You should join us if you have time that night. I'm sure there will be some people declining a walk through (because: "there's no walkthrus in gunfights" :rofl:) and reloading from cover. However you want to shoot the stage is really up to you, the shooter. :thumbsup:

Speedy recovery to you. We've had a pretty good response/request so far for these type of events so we will most likely keep on holding them. There's some REALLY great classes (hint:"km") and events to add to our calendar for July so keep an eye out on here and on our social media.

Mahalos to all the participants last night :shaka: and congratulations to the top shooters of the night! We hope everyone had a blast and walked away with a little more confidence with weapon lights( hows the run time on the xc1 light? not all its cracked up to be? ;)) and firearm manipulations in the dark. Hope to see you all again.

Great night! First time ever using the weapon light, after a little fumbling, very easy to use. Didn't stay for final results, but I bet that little guy with Tourettes did the best. :thumbsup:

night match was AWESOME!
while the noise and recoil of the simunition was much less than a regular firearm, the stress and "fog of war" was still there, especially in the dark
so the sample video that was posted above is only 1/5 of that particular stage, and it was run it the pitch dark, with a weapon mounted light on the pistol and the shotgun
we had to navigate rooms, open doors (even unlock one door), open a handgun safe, and shoot at multiple targets
and that was only one stage!
other stage included a FAST drill (two head shots, slide lock reload, four to the body) in the pitch dark from IWB (difficult to change mags when you grab the mag and your shirt and cannot drop the mag or use your other hand and possibly flag yourself or break 180)
downstairs there was a stage where we had to shoot around a barrier while seated at falling plates, then get up and traverse and clear 3 rooms
there were over a dozen shooters, and a great time was had by all
props to KMConcepts for making this available to us
i can't wait to see what they can come up with next
