Title: Cost of shipping a Gun Safe

Hi folks,
In case anyone was interested......
I'm shipping a Gun Safe from the mainland to my home via a freight forwarder (Hawaiian Express) and here's the quote I received.  Safe is 59" x 39" x 24"  and weighs 932 pounds. :shaka:

TU miken, I just started today looking into buying a gunsafe and was wondering about the shipping.   :thumbsup:

Amazon won't,  I tired it too.

The freight forwarder charges freight based on the cubic feet of the item, not the weight so I could've filled it with ammo like London808 suggested and the cost would be the same.
Unfortunately, the logistics of doing that proved difficult.  Maybe if you bought a safe from a dealer that also sells ammo, it would be something to consider.

certain safes like Zanotti are not sold here
