Three police officers are dead and three others injured following a shooting in Baton Rouge, La., early Sunday. According to officials, one suspect was killed in the shooting, which occurred along a stretch of highway about two miles from state police headquarters, but two others remain at large.
What we know so far:
3 police officers were killed and three others injured in a shooting in Baton Rouge, La., Sunday.
The shootings began at 9 a.m. as police responded to a report of a man walking along the highway with an assault rifle.
Police say one suspect is dead, but believe two others may be at large.
Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards called the killings "an unspeakable and unjustified attack on all of us."
The shootings come on the heels of the slayings of five Dallas police officers in an ambush during a protest of the police-involved deaths of black men in Falcon Heights, Minn., and Baton Rouge.

Sad news. My guess it's a copycat situation.
It won't be long before Obama comes on your tv telling us to ban guns.

Prayers for the dead and wounded officers.
Obama's finger prints are all over this. He met with BLM leaders this past Wednesday to discuss their planned Day of Rage this weekend. He probably promised BLM that he will only blame guns and not the BLM extremists who pull the trigger.
As someone on another site said, Obama is radicalizing blacks like ISIS radicalizes muslims.

I seriously worry this will be a snowballing event. Cops are going to be more on edge because of these events and thus more likely to use force which is might lead to another publicized incident which will lead to another revenge incident which will get worse and worse.

I agree in regards to being a copycat situation. I fear that as more of these occur it will set off more cop killings. This is a very sad time for us here in the U.S.

Killing LEOs will increase the call for gun confiscation. These nut jobs are making the preservation of the 2A much more difficult.

It will be a vicious circle. Like I said earlier on another topic, I would not want to be a LEO trying to confiscate guns in the back country of the Deep South or the hills of Kentucky and Tennessee. Even in the North. MIchigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin are full of white supremacist and para military groups who would love to engage with LEOs coming for their guns. Maybe a nationwide bloodbath will be the legacy of a Hillary presidency if she ever gets elected.
