Do you know of any local celebrities (actors, spokespersons, musicians, sports pros, news anchorman, ranking business CEO's, etc) who are very pro gun or you have seen at the range?
Those that live or are frequently in Hawaii and are known by the general public.

I don't know of any. I just saw all,those NBA stars on some award program recently being anti-gun. Maybe if I was a mega millionaire I would be anti-gun for other people, but not for me and mine. I would bet everything I own that Bloomberg and these other rich anti-gun A-holes have armed security.

I’m not against the gun. I’m against the bullet, the lead bullet, because I’ve used non-lethal weapons for 30 years. I have had to shoot many fugitives and never killed anyone. You have the right to bear arms, which means you can protect yourself, but you don’t have the right to kill people for no reason. The lead, the bullet itself, is ridiculous.
We have made weapons that can drop an elephant in one second. I’m showing cops, homeowners, good people, you don’t have to kill anyone to get them down so you can control them. You can use a non lethal bullet, a rubber bullet and drop anybody. They’re going down, call 911, tell them if they move you’ll shoot them again, so that’s what I’m against.

Of course, he is a felon and cannot be armed. His opinion on armed citizens means squat.
About the same as convicted drug dealers wanted citizens to not having the means to defend themselves.
Cops, criminals, and military be armed, we be armed.

I didn't know Grace Park was progun. Sounds like someone that could help out. Though I heard she's a bit difficult to work with sometimes. Be awesome to see her in the Boomer outfit.

Tom Selleck lives mainly on his 60 acre avocado farm in Westlake Village, CA.

He used to live on Black Point Rd when he was filming Magnum PI. He sold that house long time ago. He was one of my clients when I had my tree service, along with Jim Nabors, who still lives here, and Richard Chamberlain who moved back to the mainland years ago. I don't know any of their views on gun ownership.

I do believe Ken Onion is pro gun but he is only a celebrity in the knife world.

He was convicted of murder but he didn't kill anyone. He was involved some sort of criminal activity where his friend killed a pimp. I cannot remember if it was drug or gang related.

In 1976, Chapman was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to five years in a Texas prison. He had been waiting in a car when his friend accidentally shot and killed alleged pimp and drug dealer Jerry Oliver (aged 69) in a struggle during a deal to buy cannabis.
Chapman served 18 months at Texas State Penitentiary in Huntsville, Texas. While he was in prison, his first wife LaFonda divorced him and married his best friend. During his incarceration, he did field work and acted as the warden's barber. It was while serving his sentence that he was inspired by a prison guard to become a bounty hunter after he tackled an inmate about to be shot for attempting to escape. Chapman was paroled in January 1979.
Due to his felony conviction, Chapman is not allowed to own a firearm. He has been barred from entering the UK.

I don't think Grace is progun, but could be wrong. She is definitely lacking in social Graces.
Daniel Dae Kim and Alex O'Loughlin enjoyed at least one shooting session at KKHD that I am familiar with and enjoyed it quite a bit. The vibe I get is that they like guns personally, but I don't think their official stances are progun. At least not to the point that they speak on behalf of 2A topics. It wouldn't surprise me if they actually hold a pro gun control stance due to their affiliation. I will say that Hawaii 50 has had some serious anit gun / gun control stances in some episodes, one in particular which was over the top gun control.

Surf's right... My wife used to watch Hawaii-50 until there was this one episode that had some anti-gun / anti-gun rights remarks from Danno. She's pretty much stopped watching that show since and I only watched it whenever she did.

Those are all very good suggestions. I don't have any plans right now, but I'm looking for celebrities that can help our cause such as being a spokesman, participating in events for media coverage, and our legislative efforts.

Reading about Beth Chapman and how she behaves reminded me about the truly nice celebrities who lived and worked here.
One of the truly great entertainers of my generation was the late Jim Nabors. He just passed away at his home here last week.
I helped to do a documentary about Jim and got this token of appreciation for it.

I know we are getting a little off the topic, bit I just have to say, I have known Jim Nabors since 1991. He even gave me his unlisted phone number and email address. He was a truly genuinely nice person with not a mean bone in his body. He will be missed by a lot of people for sure.

She received a diagnosis in Sept of stage II throat cancer. She said the prognosis gave her a 50/50 chance of survival.
On Nov 28, they announced she's now cancer-free. She had the surgery two months ago, and doctors removed a plum-sized tumor. The tumor had been blocking her breathing.
The latest pathology report shows no signs of cancer remaining. :thumbsup:
