@2000 rpm @ $0.36 a round, its $12 a second or $720 a minute
@4000 rpm @0.36 a round its $24 a second or $1440 a minute
Links cost $50 per 500, or $0.10 a link
So @ 2000 rpm you would fire 33.4 rounds a second so links would cost $3.34 a second or $200 a minute
So @ 4000 rpm you would fire 66.7 rounds a second so links would cost $6.70 a second or $400 a minute
So combined you would have a cost of
@2000 rpm @ $15.34 a second or $920 a minute
@4000 rpm @ $30.7 second or $1840 a minute
Give or take a few $$$

I doubt I can justify that sort of expense for a few seconds of bliss.
Beside the cost of the gun and ammo chute, a linking machine would really add the cost up fast.
