Sounds about what I paid for mine at Kaneohe Gun Shop but that was about 3-4 years ago. Never going to go back there so I cannot offer an updated price.

I haven't bought a new one in about 10yrs but I bought one at $200 on sale from Sports Authority on sale. Regular price was $225 for a standard carbine.
