Title: Glock 19 threaded barrel
Post by: whynow? on October 20, 2016, 08:55:52 PM
Anyone use a threaded barrel on their G19?  What brand/model do you have and if you have a kydex holster, does it have to be made for the extra length of the barrel and thread nut?
Thinking of getting the Lone Wolf Alpha wolf barrel.  I like the looks even if suppressors no-go here.  Mahalos.

I use one on my Timberwolf (Glock clone - compact) in .40.   You have to use an open type holster at the muzzle most of the time.  Just depends on how much room there is in it.   The barrel is also lone wolf.  Nothing but good from them.  Been shooting their conversion barrels for 10+ years with no issues ever.

Should fit in my Safariland 6378 then which is open at the bottom.    Glad to hear you had good experience with Lone Wolf barrels.   I missed out on KM Concepts group buy.
Thinking of just getting a non fluted threaded barrel.

Yes, should fit fine in the safariland.   Yes, they are good barrels!  I will try and post a picture of my timberwolf when I get time at home.

I have this one.  Forgot what brand it is, but it works fine, no issues.

The logo is Storm Lake.  Glad you found a good one.   From the little research I've done so far on aftermarket barrels seems like maybe plain stainless barrels are better for function although I like the black finish to match.  Still learning.
