I mean, what's the deal? They move to European countries and suddenly they're crashing these huge trucks into large crowds of people. Haven't they undergone any commonsense truck driving safety education?
Yes, I'm "jumping to conclusions" and will humbly retract my question if the "incident" in Berlin is not muslim related. I'm not holding my breath. If someone is driving 40mph down the sidewalk and doesn't slow down... well, it sounds rather suspicious. I suppose it could have been an atheist or a Hindu protesting Christmas...

A “soldier” of the Islamic State carried out the truck attack in Berlin on Monday evening, the terrorist group claimed through its unofficial news agency. Twelve people were killed and dozens more injured when a hijacked truck loaded with steel crashed into a popular Christmas market. A suspect was detained near the scene by German authorities but released on Tuesday, when they said they did not have proof he was the individual driving the truck.
Of course, they'd (ISIS/ISIL/etc.) claim responsibility even if a chimpanzee had been driving the truck (I don't mean to offend chimpanzees). I certainly hope that the murderer is captured so I can try to figure out how to pronounce his name.
Would it be racist to wager on whether one of his names will be Mohammed, Abdul, Rahman, Said, or Youseff vs. George, Fred, Bill, Tom or Brad?

Congratulations! I believe you've mastered what passes for "thought" for the "progressives". Not an easy thing to do, as many people consider that state to be a definable mental illness.
Now let's all peacefully and gratefully follow Senator Feinstein's advice and "Turn 'em all in Mr. and Mrs. America". Guns, not muslims.

Perhaps I was too hasty in my judgment. It appears the killer's name was not from my list. But I haven't given up hope. I still believe it's quite possible that at least one of his six aliases will come through.
The suspect, named Amis Amri, is being pursued across Europe’s border-free travel zone that includes European Union member states, Germany’s Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière said, the Guardian reported. A European arrest warrant says the suspect uses six different aliases and is considered armed and dangerous, according to the Associated Press.

EDIT: Okay, so if you count the aliases I was right. Imagine that. These guys can't live without pretending they are some version of "mohammed"... doing "god's will" by killing people who don't share in their particular medieval collective delusion.

Well, am I psychic or what? Turns out this guy was (yea! for past tense) a muslim, pledging allegiance to ISIS and calling on other members of "the religion of peace" to kill those who don't share their particular collective delusion (oh, and he was on the "No Fly List" and still had guns, so we gotta fix that! Of course you'd think that anyone who burned down a school would be a "prohibited person" to begin with...):
Before his death, Amri pledged his allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and called for jihadists to take revenge on "crusaders" bombing Muslims, a video posted on Islamic State's Amaq news agency showed. It was not clear if the video was made before or after the Berlin attack.
Amri pledged his loyalty to ISIS in an undated video.
"My message to crusaders bombing Muslims everyday... Their blood will not go in vain," he said. "We are a nation behind them and will take revenge for them," he said.
"I call on my Muslim brothers everywhere... Those in Europe, kill the crusader pigs, each person to their own ability."
