My friend got this nice fat sow (no not hapai) earlier in the day and I shot me a nice boar about an hour-half later. Slightly quartering towards us the .308 150gr. Hornady American Whitetail Interlock bullet entered the right shoulder lodging on the left side behind the rib cage. The boar went down but got up and ran down the gulch. Too big for me to pack so we had to drag 'um out. Happy Holidays! :shaka:

Wow beautiful pigs congrats to you both, I love to see your success. I also enjoy seeing the ones you let go for whatever reason. I don't know if I am much of a hunter but I'd love to tag along one day.

Mahalo Dustoff! Few months ago I passed up on this boar twice on 2 separate occasions once with my brother and another time because I knew he was too big to handle by myself. I knew him well because of his recognizable split on his right ear. I was going to take him at 65 yards but luckily the Sow he was with decided to walk up to us and within 20 yards I took the shot. One day wen get room under our ground blind I let you know.

The hunting bullet looks like you could use it for a gold tooth now.
