Post by: London808 on January 05, 2017, 03:08:04 PM
So i Broke yet another Vacuum sealer :(

I use mine every week or so, It saves so much money buying meat and cutting it myself.

Any one got any recommendations on something a little more heavy duty ?

Picked this one up at Costco tonight on sale $30 off -- Price: $119.99

Bought 2 boxes of assorted bags for it, also on sale:

Tested by sealing a few items in the fridge.  Seemed to work just fine.

Definitely more heavy duty & a much better sealer - able to seal liquids.  Plus the bags are not expensive like the other popular brand.  Much pricier, but you get what you pay for . . .

I seal a lot in Myler then add an Oxygen absorber which actually sucks the bag compressed just like if it was vacuumed.
Does not work well with "flaky" stuff like oats or dehydrated potatoes.

For $850, it should come with a Happy Ending!!   :shake:

ended up buying at Costco,  only thing i dont like is the fact that it takes 2 hands to start it, So far tho its been keeping up with my use but the most i have packed at one time is 60lb's. Will let you know what happens when i put 100+ through it in 1 go.

yes.  if I don't have space in my ammo cans I seal them until I get room or get more ammo cans.
