I think that sentiment is shared by every gun owner here.

"I don't ever want to have to shoot somebody, but I won't see my family raped or killed by some crackhead that breaks into my house"

Kick ins scare me. But that's why I also keep a .40 loaded and ready to go hot. It's those criminals that are most likely to hurt you and your family.

The 3rd time in 15 months a resident has killed a home intruder.  You'd think the word would start to spread that maybe, just maybe, breaking into people's houses was hazardous to your health.
