Woah, like the MP40.  The MG42 does have a distinctive sound compared to the U.S. mgs.

That's one way to spend $1,000.

One of the managers there posts logs of the wear and tear on their firearms.  Interesting reads.

This place is awesome.  When we went, shot the MG42, M60, P90,AK47, AR15, MP40 all full auto.  And the M109 (50 cal).  The RO had a lot of patience with my wife.  She had a hard time finding the target with the scope on the 50cal.

Also took our CCW there.  Had the private room.

Fortunately, they have a lot of undocumented workers in Vegas for cleaning weapons and reloading cases. (kidding)

I realize you are just kidding. My problem is (Need that support group) that I am anal about not trusting other people's reloads. So far in the last 4 or 5 years I have not stood by my philosophy of not shooting other's reloads (unless it is in their gun) on 4 different occasions and 3 of those times I got a squib load from someone in my gun.

The undocumented workers have nothing better to do now that they can no longer hand out stripper cards on the Vegas Strip. You might not know this but the girl on the stripper card is not the girl that will show up at your hotel room. True fact...

This is why I don't buy ammo from people I don't know because I don't know how it was stored, they could say it's new, but maybe reloaded and I wouldn't know.  I rather pay a little more and buy from LGS.

Sounds like the voice of experience!   :shake: :shake: :shake:

Fun facts:

-  Nevada is the only jurisdiction where prostitution is legal.  Any county with a population under 700,000, as of the last decennial census, is allowed to license brothels if it so chooses.

-  Prostitution is legal in Nevada everywhere EXCEPT the counties of Clark (which contains Las Vegas), Washoe (which contains Reno), Douglas, and Lincoln.

-  Prostitution is also illegal in Nevada's capital, Carson City, an independent city.

-  The vast majority of prostitution in Nevada takes place illegally in Reno and Las Vegas.  About 66 times more money is spent by customers on illegal prostitution in Nevada than in the regulated brothels.

-  Licensed prostitutes must be at least 21 years old, except in Storey County and Lyon County where the minimum age is 18.

-  Nevada has laws against engaging in prostitution outside of licensed brothels, against encouraging others to become prostitutes, and against living off the proceeds of a prostitute.

-  Brothel prostitutes work as independent contractors and thus do not receive any unemployment, retirement or health benefits. They are responsible for paying Federal income tax and their earnings are reported to the IRS via form 1099-MISC. Nevada does not have a state income tax.

The pros also have to have an annual physical to prove they are disease free. The legal pros are healthier than the illegal pros.

The pros also have to have an annual physical to prove they are disease free. The legal pros are healthier than the illegal pros.

Actually, they have weekly tests for common STDs, and monthly tests for HIV and syphilis.  Condoms are required for all oral and intercourse contact.

Any worker who is found to have infected a customer with any disease being screened for opens up the brothel to civil liability.  It can also result in loss of their license.

All I know is that I used to drive to Reno once a month and measure the distance by how many brothels I passed by. Most of them were sketchy looking mobile homes in an empty lot with a couple pick up trucks parked outside.

After submitting my NV CCW application in Pahrump, I saw a giant billboard advertising the local "adult entertainment establishments."  I had nothing to do that day but play blackjack, so I thought I'd drive by to see what it's like.

Finally, I went through a really run-down housing area, and at the very end of the road were the two places sharing a parking lot:  Sheri's Ranch and the Chicken Ranch.  Both kind of looked like East Coast beach tourist traps.  Bright colors, relatively freshly painted, and all kinds of novelty decorations and curiosities around the outside.

There are photos online if curious.  It was morning, so maybe it's more attractive at night.

One day I might have the courage to actually check out the inside.  I have a difficult time saying, "No" to people, so it's better that I turned around and drove back to Vegas!   :geekdanc:

I've been.visiting the Las Vegas ranges, but have yet to visit battlefield.  If like to shoot the machine guns however those are one of the few things that eat up money faster than gambling machines.  Sometimes Battlefield will give range tours if you say you're from AR15.com.

Once in a while ill shoot machine guns at the Front Sight range with my store credits.

That's why when I shoot at BF, I do it the 1st day.  Once I scheduled it on the 5th day and I was down money so I cancelled because I didn't want to spend $200 or so.

Definitely worth it to fire full auto guns.  Don't waste your time with stuff you can shoot here or shooting full auto guns semi.  How often do you get to use full auto?

When we went once, my wife was shooting the AK semi.  I told her, I aint paying for that.  Hold the trigger down and spray.

There are many places in Nevada to shoot your gun for $500 a visit.
