It shipped on Thursday and arrived on Saturday. Awesome time for free shipping. I mounted it and checked the zero with my leupold bore sighter and to my amazement it was practically zeroed. I like the option of either a red or green dot. Mounting is very secure once adjusted. All in all I can't complain for $249 shipped.

I'm not an "Optic on an AK guy" but I need to make one of my AK's different.... Let us know how it works out..
I might just grab one of these

I got it from AIM surplus.com. That's the only place that has free shipping. I figured a red dot would come in handy on Molokai for goat eradication. ;D Midwest industries has a nice mount also. Not as adjustable as the AKM but it is nice. I have only heard good things about the strike fire. It seem well built. It's just a little bigger than my aimpoint PRO.

Can you see the rear irons through the optic with that setup?
