Title: Long Gun Registration
Post by: Locker_09 on May 10, 2017, 08:04:45 AM
So I was at the HPD yesterday to register my lower receiver and there is a lot of people picking up their long gun permit. I overheard this lady telling the guy that picked up his permit that he has 10 days after acquiring the firearms to register it. I search their website and it says 5 days. So what will happen to the poor guy if he waited over 5 days? I guess they don't check since yesterday they didn't ask me any proof when I acquired mine.

I have heard of one officer there who handed out citations or at least tried to for registering late. There's a proposed law that will try to stop that.
