All I can say is "Why in the hell do people keep electing this assh***?" The Republican voters of Arizona had the opportunity last year to vote for someone in the primary that, among other things, was a true defender of the Second Amendment, and was relatively aligned with Trump's agenda. But no, they sent this person of questionable mental acuity back AGAIN... talk about a swamp! It's pretty amazing that between all the RINOs and the Never-Trump Republicans that Trump has gotten anything done at all. It makes me sick.
McCain says American leadership was better under Obama
http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/337340-mccain-says-american-leadership-was-better-under-obama-report
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said American leadership was stronger under President Trump's predecessor, according to a Guardian report published Sunday.
Asked if the country stood on sturdier ground under former President Obama's leadership, McCain said "yes," according to the report.
“As far as American leadership is concerned, yes," said McCain, though he vocally criticized many of the Obama administration's foreign policy decisions.

Did old Yellowstain mention that the MSM was terrified of saying anything negative about Obunga? Not that they would have, with the grotesque slobbering they were doing. just a bit different than what Trump has to deal with from all these traitors.
Half the country did not want the fraudulent cretin and certainly did not support his "death to America" agenda, but you would never know that from the sickening, fawning media coverage.

In case anyone was curious about today's lawsuit against Trump.
What is the Emoluments Clause?
The Clause says “No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.”
It was inserted into the Constitution as a way to prevent sitting leaders from accepting foreign gifts or payments in order to ensure complete neutrality from outside influence and to prevent — even the appearance — of corruption.
The Clause applies to "all officials holding appointed positions in the Judicial and Executive Branches of the national government," according to the National Constitution Center.
Where does it come from?
The Clause was originally intended to counter the common 17th-century practice of gifting expensive items to “departing foreign emissaries or diplomats at the end of their tenure in the host country,” according to the National Constitution Center.
In 1787, Charles Pinckney, one of the Constitution's signers, “urged the necessity of preserving foreign Ministers & other officers of the U. S. independent of external influence,” and he moved to add the Clause.
It's a reminder of the framer's tough stance against political corruption, kickbacks, and undue outside influence on the nation's leaders.

What does that have to do with anything on this thread?

A rather disjointed/poorly edited/non-sequitur article in the The Hill (well-known as leftie talking points masquerading as "news", aka "hatchet job") based upon interview with "John Weaver, a longtime political adviser to the senator." So you can guess the tenor of the "reporting"...
McCain strikes back as Trump’s chief critic
http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/337519-sen-mccain-strikes-back-as-trumps-chief-critic
Excerpts:
Since then, McCain, who relished the label of maverick earlier in his career but has aligned himself more closely with the GOP establishment recently, has become a big thorn in Trump’s side.
He praised Comey “as a man of honor and integrity” after Trump fired him and argued that the president’s decision confirmed “the need and urgency” to set up a special congressional committee to investigate Russian influence in the 2016 presidential election.
When Trump later disparaged Comey as a “nut job,” according to press reports, McCain said he was “almost speechless.”
In May, he said the controversy could become a full-blown scandal, observing, “It’s reaching the point where it’s of Watergate size and scale.”
On the policy front, McCain last month cast a surprise vote to kill a resolution Trump favored that would have overturned an Obama-era rule on methane emissions.
Unlike GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham (S.C.) and Susan Collins (Maine), who announced their positions prior to opposing the resolution, McCain did not give a public warning, prompting speculation that he wanted to warn Trump over the Comey firing.
McCain also opposed Trump’s pick to serve as U.S. trade representative, Robert Lighthizer, to protest the administration’s uncertain stance on the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Things seem crappy right now, but mostly because of all the fake news stuff and people up in arms in an irrational manner, just like a few members here. They believe what they believe and can't have an even half rational discussion about truths as opposed to opinions, beliefs, etc.
It's all good to have personal opinions. But when they are based on irrational and frankly illogical things (not even going to call them thoughts as that would give them too much credit) they come off to people with even a shred of common sense as simply being

https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2017/04/28/trump-guns-second-amendment-sessions-gorsuch-zinke-column/100999664/
Thanks to President Trump, we are now back to having a 5-4 pro-gun majority on the U.S. Supreme Court. He appointed Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, which means the Department of Justice will return to focusing on prosecuting violent criminals instead of targeting law-abiding gun owners. In Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, Trump has appointed a man who is firmly committed to protecting hunting and shooting as priority uses on our public lands. In fact, Zinke repealed one of Barack Obama’s most egregious anti-gun policies on his very first day on the job.
Ultimately, politicians are judged on whether they keep their promises. For law-abiding gun owners, Trump has kept his promises, after running as the most pro-Second Amendment candidate in history.
Soon after his inauguration, the president nominated Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Justice Gorsuch believes in interpreting the law as the Framers intended. He will follow the example of Antonin Scalia, who wrote the majority opinion in the most important Second Amendment decision in modern history, District of Columbia v. Heller. That case reaffirmed that the Second Amendment protects the right of an individual to keep a firearm in their home for self-defense. Neil Gorsuch will protect that right.
Sessions will restore the rule of law to the Justice Department. As our nation’s chief law enforcement officer, he will work vigorously to respect individual freedoms of American citizens while making our communities safer by cracking down on violent criminals.
Trump also made good on his promise when he nominated Zinke to lead the Interior Department. Zinke, a former Navy Seal and avid outdoorsman, repealed the Obama administration's ban on lead ammo on federal land on his first day in office. He knows that America’s sportsmen and women are critical to conservation and understands that management decisions must recognize the importance of hunting, shooting, and other traditional uses on public lands.
Trump has also acted to protect the self-defense rights of Social Security beneficiaries, repealing an eleventh-hour Obama rule that banned them.

Well, yeah, but... I thought I heard him say "Unlimited free guns and ammo for everyone!". Maybe I misheard. I'm giving him another two weeks, then... I'm on the Bernie train unless CPUSA puts up a real commie for 2020. :shaka:

I heard him say silencers for all. National carry. No mag caps. Within 100 days if I recall his "plan". What did we get so far? So far I'm stuck with no silencers, unable to carry and still stuck at 10 rounds with no NFA items. 1 judge who has done nothing and an Attorney general who has done nothing. SAME THING.

The things I have listed were just things he said at all his rally's. (I watched many of them) Not official part of his 100 day plan. But he did fail on some things. Inb4 people chastise the source website name.

In other words: You were completely wrong about your 100 day claim and Trump actually has either 1,305 days, or possibly 2,765 days to fulfill those campaign statements.
Close. Very close. Well, not really. But I know what you meant.

More on the "esteemed" senator McCain and his "foundation" donations from globalists and others of suspect intent. Not that accepting millions of dollars from such people would in any way influence McCain, now known as a fierce "maverick". Yeah, right.
http://dailycaller.com/2017/06/19/exclusive-soros-clinton-linked-teneo-among-donors-to-mccain-institute/
Soros, Clinton-Linked Teneo Among Donors to McCain Institute
Critics worry that the institute’s donors and McCain’s personal leadership in the organization’s exclusive “Sedona Forum” bear an uncanny resemblance to the glitzy Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) that annually co-mingled special interests and powerful political players in alleged pay-to-play schemes.
The institute has accepted contributions of as much as $100,000 from billionaire liberal activist-funder George Soros and from Teneo, a for-profit company co-founded by Doug Band, former President Bill Clinton’s “bag man.” Teneo has long helped enrich Clinton through lucrative speaking and business deals.
And Bloomberg reported in 2016 on a $1 million Saudi Arabian donation to the institute, a contribution the McCain group has refused to explain publicly.
In addition, the institute has taken at least $100,000 from a Moroccan state-run company tied to repeated charges of worker abuse and exploitation. The McCain group has also accepted at least $100,000 from the Pivotal Foundation, which was created by Francis Najafi who owns the Pivotal Group, a private equity and real estate firm.
The Pivotal Foundation has in the last three years given $205,000 to the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), which has been a vocal advocate for the Iranian nuclear deal the Obama administration negotiated.

Despite a lack of intellectual ability, capacity for logical reasoning, and (public) speaking ability Palin would have been far better for liberty-minded Americans than McCain. At least her "heart was in the right place", whereas McCain... traitor... same mold as Clinton(s).

It was to be expected that Trump would have problems in the beginning since he has no political experience and he's getting on the job training. But the reason he was elected to office was he has no political experience. Democrats hate him because he stole their election. Republicans don't like him because he's not a true Republican and they have no control over him. So Trump doesn't have allies which makes everything difficult for him. Throw in the bad press, lawsuits, trivial things blow out of proportion, and investigations so he loses focus on the things he has to do. Plus he hurts himself by saying the wrong things a lot. He has a really tough job.
I hope he can get back on track later this year, but it'll be difficult since Democrats are going all out to tarnish his image for the 2018 elections.
-
I did not vote for McCain. The guy is a RINO moron.
Nor did I, just could not do it.
Just sat it out, my vote would matter, not.
-

Really? You don't think that if you'd voted the Republicans would have captured Hawaii's electors rather than Obama? Obama squeaked by with only 71.85% of the vote, so your single vote would have made... oh, wait, you're right. Never mind.
-
McCain hates Trump because of the things Trump said before the election about his being a POW, IMHO.
“He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”
