Title: Measure headspace
Post by: Heavies on June 14, 2017, 10:40:52 AM
My friend Mark explains how to measure headspace on a shouldered rifle casing.

This is very helpful in checking your chamber, setting up dies to bump the shoulder, and confiming correct ammunition specs.

Very interesting video there.

Ive been learning/ reading a lot bout headspacing reloaded ammo. I'm gonna start reloading my own. Also looking for signs of over pressure pierced primers etc. so much shit to look for and never even thought about it til now. Although I been headspacing all my rifles and some pistols especially my revolvers for a few years now.

But I lazy and bought a Lyman chamber checker and an Egw chamber checker, lol. Prob will just reload 223.

But thank you for the video, I learned even more.
