Title: Can 8x57 shoot out of a 1942 german k98 mauser

Need to know if 8x57 can fire out of a k98 german mauser or can you only use 7.92x57 thanks.

8 X 57 and 7.92 X 57 are the same cartridge.  Have you had the headspace checked?
