Title: Beth Chapman (Dog the bounty hunter) disses soldiers
Post by: bozo on February 17, 2012, 03:11:37 PM
This was shared on my FB page, so I thought this was another good place to share.   As a soldier this just really pisses me off.  Feel free to express your comments.

I will never ever watch "Dog the Bounty Hunter" again!!!! This happened here on Oahu where I live, a military family and here is what Beth Chapman thinks of the soldiers who defend HER freedom and her families!! This morning while a group of Junior Enlisted climbed KoKo head, Beth Chapman, From Dog the Bounty Hunter on A&E, was at the top filming for her workout video so she said. As they reached the top, she told the first few Soldiers up that they were not allowed to go to the top because she was filming. Claimed she had a permit and would not let them pass. After repeatedly asking to see the permit, she began yelling at the Soldiers. Her film crew was filming this the whole time. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting her, but some Soldiers did, this is a recap of what happened. "I had the very unfortunate experience along with many of my fellow Soldiers of meeting Beth Chapman from Dog the Bounty Hunter. Not only was she extremely rude and very immature while she expressed her opinion as follows: "you stupid Soldiers are beneath me I'm a civillian" "you are f*cking up my shot you need to leave. You don't belong on this island. I live here this is my island." "you f*cking assholes are going to pay for this shoot" mind you we were in a state park while this was happening. Great way to treat the very people who defend your freedom everyday.

Does not shock me.  The hog seems to have an entitlement mentality.

My wife saw her at the Hawaii Kai Costco some time back.  Apparently expected someone to assist her, push the cart etc.  Becam irate when it was made clear there was no such service.

Saw Dog fairly often at the 24hr Fitness there, and he seemed quite normal and friendly.  No airs at all.

She and her husband are fucking idiots. I wish it was me climbing kokohead when she said that. I am both military and Hawaiian. I would love to see that bitch try and tell me this is her island.

My wife also told me a similar story about her.  She believes that she is royalty or "above us all" as your friend stated.  It is simply amazing how some people are so full of themselves.

Galatians 6:7 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

I like see what going happen when armed homeowners inform them this is private property and they have to immediately leave.  Especially the ones that like to run through backyards and look into Windows.

I wonder how many homes they went to and they were wrong. I dis like that show and that whole persona that they perceive. They can't fight one on one. But they talk it. They bail people out only to verbally abuse  them on national tv? Wtf!! It would be  a bad show to show up my house, talking s__t and demanding sh__t when he has no right to be on my property. It wouldn't be pretty. And for Beth to say what she said is stupid. I really hope that some body filmed that and put it online.

What kind of badges are they wearing?  Example: the guy at 4:16.  That strikes me as impersonating a police officer, and here in Colorado at least, that's a felony.

Are they entitled to wear some kind of "Bounty Hunter Shield?"

Poor Beth.  Breaking so many nails.  <snif>

vooduchikn:
"no shit. I think most of them are staged..."

Tell me it ain't so.  If that's true, my faith in the entire entertainment industry will be utterly and completely destroyed.

LOL at that one.  I gotta remember that if I ever visit the Islands again.

They got their badges from the local 99 cents store. If you look good you can see Mickey mouse in the middle....

dumb gossip item posted by "friends and cousins"

The military is not interested in following up or commenting on the matter and informed
their people not to either.  I met the family when they visited the base my dad was on
and they were super nice and super cool to everyone. It was not for the show or
fame, it was to spend time with the kids whose family members were being
shipped out. I don't like the show but to say that they don't respect the military
is nonsense. Dog''s dad was a navy man and Beth's oldest son is in
the army.

I judge by a course of actions, not reports from one day if accurate. The way
the posters are acting, it is like a smear campaign..

Wait a minute.  I used to like watching the shows till their egos got the best of them.  Who is dissing who here?  How many times does Dog and his wife berate the same people they say they are helping?  DO they say anything nice about Hawaii?  Let's not forget they are not LE or "crime fighters" as many people think they are.  The real people who give a crap about crime is HPD and other real LE agencies that put those same people who jump bail into prison. This is not a smear campaign...they do enough of that on their own.

I have never had any interactions with Beth, but I have had a couple with "The Dog." He is an arrogant, obnoxious loud-mouth that believes his minor celebrity confers upon him the ability to disregard the rules and procedures the rest of us adhere to. I suspect that him being "super nice and super cool" was mostly due to his desire to maintain a public personna that would allow him to keep his show, and hence, his income stream. Let's not forget he had his show pulled, albeit temporarily, because of the comments he made in a recorded telephone conversation. I also understand that his neighbors in Kahala have had a few problems, including, but not limited to, his rather self-agrandizing front gate.

in short, he's an ass.....

The posters are posting their own DIRECT experiences with these people with everyday type interactions.

they were super nice and super cool to everyone

Do you expect them to behave like asses when they are out for a "service project?"

I judge by a course of actions, not reports from one day if accurate.

Wow!  So we are simply making up stories to smear these "good people" according to you?

Duane and Beth Chapmans disrespect for Hawaii and the people in Hawaii are well documented.

This is not an isolated incident.

There have been numerous incidents (all documented) where the Chapman family has harassed, assaulted, bullied, and broken numerous laws to "re-catch" someone that they bailed out.

They purposely bail out flight risks in order to pad their pockets with the revenue generated from their tv show.

They've kicked open doors to the wrong house on more than one occasion.

I don't know anything about the Chapmans, but I'll say that I don't believe the story about the Army hike, simply because I don't believe that Beth 1) works out, and 2) that there's any market for a workout video starring her.

1) I don't believe Richard Simmons works out, and he makes plenty videos
2) Lack of a market does not necessarily preclude a producers betting that there is one.  Personally I can't believe there is an audience for anything DTBH related, yet there it is. My guess is the mystifying success of the DTBH franchise has made all involved delusional.

I remember an Army bulletin that said not to use Simple Green on M4s, M16s.

From Simple Green FAQS:

Aluminum - Is it safe to use Simple Green® on aluminum?
When used with caution and according to the instructions, Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner has been safely and successfully used to clean aluminum. Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner, Crystal Simple Green® Cleaner/Degreaser, Simple Green Pressure Washer Concentrates, and Pro Series™ Simple Green® Automotive Cleaner have been used on aircraft, automotive, industrial and consumer aluminum items for over 20 years. However, caution and common sense must be used: aluminum is a soft metal that easily corrodes with unprotected exposure to water. The aqueous-base and alkalinity of Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner can accelerate the corrosion process. Therefore, contact times for unprotected or unpainted aluminum surfaces should be kept as brief as the job will allow - never for more than 10 minutes. Large cleaning jobs should be conducted in smaller-area stages to achieve lower contact time. Rinsing after cleaning should always be extremely thorough - paying special attention to flush out cracks and crevices to remove all Simple Green® product residues. Unfinished, uncoated or unpainted aluminum cleaned with Simple Green products should receive some sort of protectant after cleaning to prevent oxidation.
Simple Green has also developed break-through water based cleaners that are safe for use on metals, plastics, rubber and high tech alloys. Extreme Simple Green® Aircraft & Precision Cleaner and Simple Green® Pro HD are available on both the industrial and retail markets, respectively. These products were initially developed for the aircraft industry and extensive testing shows that they are safe and effective on a variety of metals and other sensitive surfaces even in the most extreme circumstances.

Beth Chapman has started a new production.company called Auntie Productions which is producing her exercise video. She is tweeting her fans via her Auntie Productions twitter telling them to contact the Hawaii film office and tell them they support her. She's also tweeting asking why the military is using public tax payer trails for P.T. when they have million dollar facilities on base.

Wow. That's a cunt thing to say. It's not "the military" using kokohead for PT, it's individual human beings who are far away from home who want to peacefully enjoy the island, going out for a hike. Her question makes like the entire company assembled at kokohead and ran drills there the whole day.

Wow she needs to be humbled really badly.

Production is expensive. Interruptions like that make it even more expensive. I get it. I do production for a living. Film permits in Hawaii are outrageously costly, as well.

But NOTHING justifies that kind of bad behavior. Wouldn't matter if they were soldiers or civilians. And a film permit just gives you permission to film - it doesn't give you exclusive ownership of the place where you are filming.

Politeness goes a lot further. But expecting the Chapmans to understand that would be an exercise in futility. They obviously have learned nothing living here.
