Title: Amazon & Hawaii Defense Foundation

So I logged into Amazon tonight and this message pops up:

We’re sorry. Hawaii Defense Foundation is not currently eligible to receive donations from AmazonSmile.

With a button below it to "Choose a new charity."  :wtf:

I am rethinking my purchases from this company . . .

According to the HDF website, they are a 501(c)(3) charity.

However, according to the IRS website, their charitable status was REVOKED as of 08-Aug-2016.

Just to be accurate, the exemption was revoked on 15-May-2016, and the organization was added to the Revocation List on 08-Aug-2016.

I didn't know how to lookup these things, thanks Flapp.  There's several other gun clubs on the list.  Probably behind in turning in records.

I saw this too.  I use that Amazon program all the time for HDF.  Sad to see.   :(

i have passed on the info and it is being looked at
HDF is current with the State DCCA
might be a paperwork issue...
