"In terms of customer service, the airline industry has had a challenging year," said Marc Raybin, president of a public-relations firm in South Bend, Indiana. He said that Southwest and the transit police in Baltimore may have followed their rules, "but the optics of this certainly look bad for Southwest and the airline industry as whole."

Southwest, Raybin said, should keep apologizing, pick up the cost of the passenger's flight and expenses, and "do not blame the customer at any point."

Southwest Airlines = shit sticks. Did this lady say something to the pilot? I can't see them doing this just because she said she was she was allergic to dogs. there's more here than meets the eye IMHO. If she said it was ok and Shitwest Airlines, after she declined a flight the next morning, decided to remove her anyway then that's horseshit. I've flew Shtwest twicw and they are arrogant pieces of cow turds, lousy service, lousy personnel. I'll never fly with them again. Too bad they don't go out of business.

I'm definitely gonna bring my comfort Rottweiler with me on my next flight to the mainland.
