Title: Maintenance on dies

How often does dies need maintenance or cleaning? And what solvents used if any?

Depends on usage and where you store them. Humid environment Id estimate once a month oil to prevent rust. Clean inside with qtip dipped in fave solvent every few hundred rounds.

Ok. I guess I gotta clean my dies. I reloaded 700 rounds already. Never did clean it. I was thinking taking the dies apart and soaking them in denatured alcohol. Does very well with greasy stuffs. Doesn't leave any kind of residue when it dries. But cleans well. Stuff I used to soak the nitro engine on my R/C trucks and cars when I do maintenance.

Interesting. I used to fly nitro RC helis and used that mystery oil in a red can when I stored engines
