Great post on zerohedge today about the emergence of black markets and people being forced to do what they need to in order to survive. I was just talking with some guys from the mainland about Gary, Indiana and other places in the US where the collapse is already visible. They are places where you don't stop at the stoplights at night, but somehow people there are managing to survive.

Too many have their heads in the sand and are unable or unwilling to see what is slowly happening.
