Title: Puna Kidnapping
Post by: s15project on December 30, 2017, 06:28:11 PM
So much craziness going on nowadays.  I think over the past 5 years it's been getting worse but this year seems to have accelerated to violence from more property crime stuff.

PUNA, HAWAII (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A manhunt is underway for four suspects, believed to be armed and dangerous, who kidnapped a woman at gunpoint Saturday in Puna.
The victim has been identified by family as 31-year-old Rochelle "Shelley" Guyer.
Guyer's mother, Agnes Nathaniel, told Hawaii News Now that the four suspects kidnapped her daughter at gunpoint and assaulted her.
"They hit her with a tire iron, they put her in the back of the trunk and they took off," she said. "They told the people at the house that if they called the cops, they were going to come back and kill them."
The four suspects have been identified as: Joshua Sosa, 25; Nicole Nasario, 26; Claude Carvalho, 32; and Paul Alisa, 34.
Police describe the suspects' vehicle as a 1998 Maroon Toyota Corolla with license plate HCD-702. A rear window is broken or missing.
The incident happened at a home in Hawaiian Beaches on Hee Street.
Police have not released any other information at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
This story is still developing and will be updated.

We are on an island. Not much grey matter action.

How did they think they were gonna get away with it?

"They told the people at the house that if they called the cops, they were going to come back and kill them."

Criminal masterminds they are not!

If they took my daughter and I was unable to kill them before they left, I would welcome them back with hot lead.  Shows the importance of carrying at home.  Need to be ready for idiot criminals, especially in Puna.  Maybe that’s why I love it here so much.  Much more than I enjoyed living in Kailua.  I have a sense of adventure each day.

There's something that creeps me out about Big Island. I love the beauty, but there's a similar vibe in rural Arizona where at least they allow open carry.

I seriously doubt rural Arizona has nearly as many tweekers and general human detritus.

Sounds like a reasonable cause for a CCW...

They hit her on the head, kidnapped her, chopped off her hair and then returned her back at the home that they kidnapped her from? Bizzare!

It's more similar than you think.
