That may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen!

"Prior Proper Planning Also Saves the Day!"
That sounds like either a childish tongue twister or a line of a song in a Musical about British accents...

WHY?!?!?!?!?

WHY?!?!?!?!?
I asked myself the same question.

Not that this merits discussion, but...
Best I can tell, looking at the website, there is only a single slide. So the whole "double independent or single trigger" choice isn't really a choice. Firing only one barrel would either: work the action, thereby ejecting a perfectly good unspent round, or; cause a malfunction due to lack of sufficient pressure to operate the slide.
Honestly, it's not even something I'd think was cool if I'd been drinking heavily. If I saw someone with one of these at the range, my only impulse would be to laugh. I'd probably shoot it if I had the opportunity, but mainly so I could have a good "So you won't believe what I did today..." story to tell later.
I give it 3 months before it shows up in an action movie with a big-name star. And it will be the focal point of the poster.

One thing mentioned on another site I frequent was.....................1 trigger pull, two rounds,............machine gun?

Video was AWESOME!!!

I asked myself the same question.
Just like the Zombie ammo . . . "If you build it they will come" and buy it. Definitely tacticool.

If I remember correctly, wasn't there a 4 barrel piston at the end of the movie "blood in blood out (when Benjamin Pratt was working undercover)?

Ahh the mex-ploitation movies of the late 80's/early 90's...Popeye: "Gimme some chon chon!"
Anyways, it wasn't a 1911, but a COP .357 Derringer.

In the article it says Arsenal is doing this to commemorate the Colt 1911A1 in the Centemary. More like insulted one of the finest handguns ever produced.
