I believe these kids have hit the nail on the head.
They say that laws have failed. So why are they marching and screaming to make more laws?

"Nikolas Cruz was able to purchase an assault rifle before he was able to buy a beer," said Laurenzo Prado, a Stoneman junior, r
eferring to a Florida law that allows people as young as 18 to buy assault weapons. "The laws of the country have failed."

School teaches you how to memorize info and not question the system.  Not think for yourself.

If they did think for themselves, then they would know that the law didn't "fail".  Cruz followed the law to the T.  They should be yelling for changing the law and holding the shooter responsible, no the tool.

And if they were taught how to understand the constitution/bill of rights, then they might not be marching at all to ban AR-15's.  They probably memorized some of the bill of rights, but don't understand what it means.

They are about to get edumacated.

Looking at photos of the rallies there are numerous signs with nearly meaningless phrases. What appeared to be a six year old held a sign reading "End Gun Violence". I'd like to ask her how she'd suggest that the nearly 70% of people who make up the statistic of "gun deaths" commit suicide instead. One female looking to be late teens held one that said "Abolish the NRA". Yeah, that's the fix for sure. I'd like to ask her what law would accomplish that?  (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/images/smilies/facepalm.gif)

I guess if he were 21 they would have been ok with him shooting up the school then.
