Can't be a true story.
"He is wearing yellow-colored jeans, a blue hoodie with a weapon tucked in his belt."
Not likely he has a long gun tucked in his belt, but maybe.
He's reported to be 19 years old.
Therefore he could not purchase a handgun.
See what I'm sayin'?
Also, pretty sure that campus and dorm are gun-free zones.
Nothing makes sense.
If only there was a law that made murder illegal! That woulda stopped him for sure.

Spot on. From other news outlets:
The victims have been identified as Davis' parents, James Davis, Sr. a part-time police officer in Bellwood, Illinois, and Diva J. Davis.
Central Michigan University police "had contact" with Davis Thursday night, and he was taken to the MidMichigan Medical Center and released Friday morning, according to Lt. Larry Klaus of the CMU Police Department.
Whoops, just read OP's linked article.

We need a law to make it illegal for anyone under 21 to steal guns. That should fix the problem. Oh, and for it to be illegal for anyone under 21 to murder people.
