can we at least get their defense department contract cancelled?  And since Abu Dahbi is the largest private stock holder, can we get them investigated by Muller as well?

Costco takes any VISA.  Pick another that offers reward points or cash back.  You'll still get the annual Costco cash back rebate check, but not the Costco Card rebate.

Chase has a better mileage program and really great sign up bonuses every once in a while.

It is disturbing that they are the DoD prime vendor, putting service people in the predicament of working for their country while the same time undermining it.

But at lest we now have a pretty good idea where the 2nd Amendment attacks are coming from. The Wall Street 1%ers  are scared as hell that when the bottom drops out there will be an armed insurrection and they are preemptively pulling out all the stops to make sure the whole martial law/confiscation thing works in their favor.

I LOVE my Capital One card !
Use for Costco and everything else.

Competitive travel awards (2x New Cardmember Offer: Earn 50,000 bonus miles once you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening*)
or cash back (1.5% New Cardmember Offer: Earn a one-time $150 cash bonus once you spend $500 on purchases within 3 months from account opening*)
Interest rates 14%-24% but seeing how we never spend more than we will have when card is due, we've paid interest once in 36 yrs. (forgot to pay bill )

   Theft, loss, breakage protection etc...
Best part is they will double manufacturer purchase.
2 yr warranty on a fridge ? Now it's 4 years !  :D
What's in your holster ?

p.s. have a Citibank card was using for auto paying a monthly $14 bill. I will go cut that sucker right now.  :grrr:

Just cancelled my citi card.  Had them when I turned 18.  My 1st credit card.

CSC said they are documenting complaints.

Yup. The only Citi card that I have.

My Sears card is with Citi, at least I think. But I almost never use it.

Meh. You can use you own personal card. Your travel POC might give you crap, but you can for most charges.

Most units & businesses require you to use your DoD/Corporate card for all travel expenses so they can reap the rewards from their organization's travel.  That is, IF you have their cards.  There's no way for them to force you to apply for or keep a specific credit card, since it counts toward your personal credit score.

Cancel the card, and you can pay however you wish for travel costs.  They can't make you use a card you choose not to have in your name.  The DoD went to charge cards to eliminate having to pay travelers in advance.  You might be declined a request for a travel advance whether  or not you have their card, so make sure you can float the cost of travel and make credit card payments on time before canceling.

I only “have” to use the Citi travel card for airfare since that’s the card I have in DTS. Other than that, I could use my own CC. I’m not “supposed” to, but out travel lady is cool. I’ve forgotten my travel card more than once and charged prettt much everything for the trip on my own CC.

Cancelled my COSTCO card today. Got my non-credit COSTCO card so I’ll use my Visa card. They asked why and I told them. They could have cared less. Shredded the card, put it in an envelope and sent it back to them with a nice note..... >:D
