Personally speaking I rather have another shotgun in a different config.
Now if the total parts comes significantly less than a whole shotgun then yeah it might be worth it.
Kinda like quick change barrels is useful for Special Forces way behind enemy lines using the enemies caliber( ACR when it was the Masada)
For us civies for whatever emergency arises would you hand a buddy a spare gun or spare parts in a firefight?
