Love this gun. Seems to shoot better than the VP9 (sorry mac).
Dont know why they have a "c" in it. Its almost same size as the vp9. Barrel is 0.07 inches shorter and length is 0.25 inches less.
Love the aggressive grip. I got sweaty palms. So after the 5th round, it starts to sweat. So grip pattern helps with rapid firing.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180514/0e0e48e6f986cd1627705f04cc2ea0e8.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180514/e2cfd521e5e847fc592fe1c6fbab02ea.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180514/8e38e433ed1223e1ed21addf9f3cf77a.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180514/869db62ecf4a48c03523cc528a9aa87b.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180514/f9a935a4337d3af0eaac300d7d391378.jpg)

nice
how big are the white squares?

0.75 inches or so. Looked thess than 1 inch.

Cool! Good to hear that the P10c seems to be working out for you.
I'd love to get the P10c, VP9, P320 and compare against my Glock 17 and PPC. I'm just afraid that I would all of them and want to buy one of each.
The one thing I would hesitate about the VP9 is the mag release. Even though my first gun was an HK with the ambi-paddle style mag release, having shot thumb button mag release guns so much since then, it messes me up.

LMK if you ever want to try at the HDF shoots. I got 2 out of 3 pistols. To me the paddle isn't an issue because if you go for the thumb and it's not there, then it's a "clue" to try somewhere else. Same goes when going from paddle to button or any other type of failure. How many times do you tap/rack before removing the mag and pulling charging handle/slide instead (double feed).
The issue is which finger do you use? I use my middle and keep the index on the frame. Another down side to the VP9 is the combo of panels for the grip. There are 36 combinations or so. I spent an hour messing with all possibilities. (Mediums on left and right. Small on backstrap).

Thanks for the offer. Maybe one of these days. I also know a bunch of folks who have some combination of those guns and they've often offered to let me try. I really tended to stay away as to not want to like them and want to buy them.
For me, my thumb can't reach the paddle on HKs. When I used to shoot the HK a lot, I used my middle finger. That said, muscle memory is something that's tough to get over, especially under stress. I don't need nor want "clues" when I need to reload my mag. That said, I don't quite agree with your analogy. One is a series of steps to clear a malfunction. Remedial or immediate action drill, or whatever. The other is not meant to be a try #1 and then try #2 if #1 fails. At least I've never thought about a mag change in that way. As always, up do you and your comfort level.

Bad analogy, sorry about that. I guess because my first pistol and primary is a VP9 i'm used to working the paddle and thumb releases throw me off. I tried someones RMR once and that threw me way off to the point I used the iron sights instead and ignored the red dot. But better being thrown off at the range versus in a life or death situation.
Decockers also make me uncomfortable because I don't one a pistol with one. Slowly I will try and learn and have confidence in different variations.

Yeah, I hear ya. It can certainly take time to get used to something different, especially if you've gotten used to another method, equipment, etc. I've gone through that quite a bit in the past year for shooting. Just about got one newer technique down and working on another that I've tried recently. But yes, always good to try for ones self. Something I am big on and why I like to try things for myself and usually side-by-side comparisons help that.
I only have one gun with a decocker and that's my HK USP Compact. That's probably one of the least shot gun in my collection. Since the USP can be carried cocked and locked, the decocker isn't something that I've used very much other that using it to demonstrate the decocking feature when teaching basic pistol classes. I've shot Sigs with the decocker and I have found myself having to slow down and think my way though the decock procedure after every course of fire. But yeah, not something I'm very comfortable with either.

I'd like a P-10c and P320 for teaching purposes, just to give students more options. I've shot a decent amount through both but don't know that I'll ever carry anything other than my Glock 19.
-
I just recently made my first handgun purchase and my choices were narrowed down to the VP9, 320, G17 and P10C. I never did get a chance to shoot the P10C but the most comfortable for me was the G17 and I’m a left handed shooter. I liked the ambi slide stop and will be switching the mag release once I get the gun.
-
Vp9 and p10 come ambi without having to switch anything.

g17 gen 5 i ambi also. 8)

^^^^What's a g17? Gatorade 17.

I wouldn't consider the gen 5's truly ambi. Mag release can still only be on one side.

Sorry, didnt see lost till now.
Still digging it. Mainly due to the aggressive grip. Feels more aggressive than skateboard tape (talon grips).
Mags also cheaper than hk mags

The P10C OR is still on my "to buy" short list. If I hadn't gone a little overboard in Black Friday sales, I'd probably already have one.
A shooting buddy absolutely loves his. He can't wait to get the full size OR version. Prior to the P10C, he was primarily a Glock shooter. He's also recently gotten into RDS on handguns. He's also had good results with the P10C with newer shooters who have had trouble with other handguns.
Like Drakiir, mostly interested in the P10C for variety to offer shooters that we teach. I've shot the P10C, P320, VP9, etc quite a bit and like many aspects of all of them. However, the P10C keeps getting good reviews.

Glad i saw this thread. Was about to start my own. I just bought one yesterday. So its in its 2 week jail time. I liked the feel of the grip and and how the weight seems closer over my fist then in front of it. Only an fn509 felt better balanced but the ass up top felt wide in the web of my hand. Previous experience with a beautiful kahr k9 with the same and having beat/bruise my web in only a few hundred rounds made me pass on it.And the very aggressive traction on the p10 grips i like too. Cant wait to fire at the range 👍 only caveat is that i didnt check if was a gen 1 or 2 the gen 2's don't have the ambi mag release anymore. And the gen 2 supposeddly fixed the clocking of the firing pin that locked up a few of the gen 1 guns.

CMO does your striker cover plate have a tab on the right side of the plate?

@ 19p79: did you get your P10C? Is it all that you expected?

Shot about 300rds through it. 115 and 124 grn ball ammo. No defense rounds yet. Ran perfectly. It's a first model with the ambi slide and mag release. But has the the ramped slide plate and the notch cut into the slide at 3 o'clock revision. True to the inter webs bitching the mag release was stiff out of the box. After working it for a few days it's like any other I have. I am most pleased with the size, it's in between a Glock 17 and 19. It's grip is shorter then a 17 and just enough longer then a 19 where I don't get pinched by the mag and I don't feel like I'm crowding/mashing my grip up on the grip to get more purchase. Both are reasons I moved my 19 along. Accuracy wise can't really say I'm too lazy to set up my targets on the pistol side of Koko. Was hitting steel easily on the steel side though. Mine came with the night sites. I like the trigger better on the p10 better then the Glocks. It breaks consistant 3.5 lbs per Lyman scale. Lmk if you have any more questions. So far so good :shaka:

Yeah, not showing my wife that. But it does look super bad ass.
-
I thought that was just the slide for $450. But it's the entire gun. Not gonna go through the permiting proccess right now. The wife is looking to gun candy her pistol instead. Cheaper and easier. She's looking at some unicorn white that has a tone of lavendar or something.

I'm not into the whole cerakote thing, but from experience shared by friends who have, be careful of who you go through. I've seen so many guns that end up not functioning properly after being coated. From safeties on 1911 not having sufficient clearance to affecting the slide.
Anyway, sounds expensive. While that's a lot of $$$ that would be great for training, you need to keep your wife (and all of her quirks) happy.
