Here how the training will go:

1) Run
2) Hide/barricade
3) If all else fails, grab stuff to fight with

So their training should not last more than 2 minutes.

I'll attend.  I want to see what is being taught and see if there are any things I can learn for a CCW movement.

I seem to remember that they are doing them in many neighborhoods on the island
they must have gotten a grant or something

my guess is the training is "get a big dog"

If you go, you should stir the pot and ask "what if I'm armed, how should 1 respond to an active shooter?".  Just to see what they would say and the look on their face.

The president of the company saw me "pacing" the office.  I was making my "plan" in case of an active shooter.  He said it was a good idea and let him know what I come up with.

Unfortunately, no guns allowed inside the office.  But many guys have bowie knifes in their desk drawers.

maybe I'll go and quote the FBI's investigation findings that support the 2A and the importance of arming our citizens to help stop active shooters
