JC Steel targets. Good stuff.

It's too bad we can't put one of these on the hill. My understanding is that KHSC doesn't allow single suspension steel targets because they may ricochet (I know, silly). They don't even like double chains if they see it wobbling side to side. I know they don"t allow silhouette targets with a head (like the one on the left) but not sure about animals.

I use single-chain ("suspension") steel. My 3" round have a single connection, and I place them on 50 yds for rimfire, and on 100 yds for a challenge. I use 2 x 1" oblong chain links between the frame and target. Not much swivel.

Len is the only one who has said anything about my chains and that's only with the .308+ bullets. I like the ting sounds that others can get but difficult for me to hear my own over the sound of the rifle and hearing protection.
