Been watching reruns of the old Hawaii 5-0. They are use snub nose revolvers. They never take time to aim they just start to point and pull the trigger. I did count a 9 shot revolver that Steve McGarret had in one episode. Funny thing is I don't think they made 9 shot revolvers back then.

I've been seeing the same thing on re-runsof "Highway Patrol" with Broderick Crawford.

Also love the big cars they drove around in in  Highway Patrol.  Lotsa Buicks and  Plymouth Furies. Nimble as a pregnant elephant.  Ten-four?  Ten-four.

What really irks me is in some of the old time Westerns, where they "throw" the gun at their targets when shooting.  Like that wrist motion is going to make the bullet go faster or something.  I remember imitating that with my cap guns when I was a kid.  Which is why it irks me.  It points up the only time in my life when I was wrong.

Good one, gotta be one of the cheesiest Arnold movies ever. He must have single handedly killed 400 soldiers in the last part of the movie.

Aloha!
My first post..... :shaka:

I love any movie where the bad guys conveniently line up and stroll in on the defenders, making it much easier for them to get shot.....like no one has ever heard of a base of fire, or bounding overwatch  or a three-second rush.
Saw this on the first season of Five-0 as well as the sniper movie with Mark Wahlberg.  ::)
