Title: RIP Phil/muffinman
Post by: macsak on July 12, 2018, 09:26:58 PM
I heard from a couple members today of the passing of Phil the muffinman
he was active in HRA/LIFE and a really great guy
if you ever attended their events you may have met him and not known it
but if you ever used the Home Depot bucket sink, then you were connected to him
and oh man, the muffins...
he was always sharing his amazing baked goods, but was best know for, well, you can probably figure it out
others will fill in more details, but I will always remember the smile and his love for HKs...

I will update with funeral info if I find out

he will be missed...

A friend and gentleman, and a darned good baker too.
As a LIFE instructor, he taught many people how to shoot pistols.
These are his famous chocolate mochi muffins.

Heard the news last night. Very sad. I hadn’t been involved with LIFE that much this past year, so I wasn’t aware of what was going on.

I was lucky to have enjoyed the muffins and other baked good. Utilized the hand wash station. Even teased him some for his obsession with HK. Great guy and he will be missed.

He was a generous and all around good guy to be around, an asset to the community.
Aloha Phil

Great Guy and Great Instructor, always helping.
Only thing I'll miss more than him is his Lemon Bars.

Please keep us updated Mac.
