If I had one of those things and did not intend to comply with the law, I would not announce it to the world.

This is the first step in confiscation. No grandfathering in. No clauses. They just banned it. With this intial step they could ban other things...

The States defense will be the turn in is a voluntary option.  You can sell it to someone on the mainland or disable the prohibiting feature.

"IF I HAD ONE, would they reimburse me"  is the phrase.  And market value or what you paid for it.  So $700 or $19.99.

Do not comply.

Same thing will happen when the lawmakers in Hawaii ban certain guns.  No reimbursement, no exceptions, just hand over your property or get arrested.

They already tried it with the medical marijuana owners, telling them to surrender their guns. Backpedaled on that when the national news got a hold of it.
