Title: Where else to get bullets?
Post by: Rhed on July 21, 2018, 04:25:26 PM
Any other online to get bullets from? SPS been out of 30 cal for awhile. Specifically 168 gr I’m looking for. There’s a few online, but most of them charge outrageous for shipping. Shipping gets more expensive if purchase 500+ bullets. Anyways, was just gonna go brownells since they have Sierra hpbt on sale now if you buy bulk. Any where else I should look? Thanks..

Hey Rhed, how’s work? Busy?

Beside Brownells I like Grafs and Powder Valley. If you decide on Powder Valley, add to the comments when you check out that you want it sent flat rate USPS.

SPS and Brownells are my go to online stores. Sometimes Cabelas. I’m waiting for the 6.5 Hornady Match to be in stock again.

Yea, been busy pushing 12 hrs, night work, and Saturday, Sunday too. Though, it slowed down a tad, building is already turned over to owners now. So furnitures goin up. My section has still some work to be done. I take care of podium level and down. Thank goodness all of the subs are cooperative. We’re getting there though. How bout you? Busy?

I've been buying my bullets from Rocky Mountain Reloading lately.

 https://www.rmrbullets.com/

They were recently running a special on pulled 55 gr. boat tail bullets with free shipping and i picked up 2000 rounds for $110.50 shipped to my door via priority mail. The bullets were pristine like the last 1000 that I previously ordered.  Check them out. They may have the 168 gn 30 cal you are looking for.

Put in order for 500 bullets of Hornady  .308 168 grainers BTHP from PV. Just under 120$+9.95 ship. Never tried Hornady bullets before. Anyways thanks Inspector and thanks all for all other sources..  :shaka:

This is where I usually get my 55gr 223. I have tried the 223 hpbt they offer and they seemed decent.

I bought these also in the 62gr and they're awesome. Johnny has a series where he featured the Everglades.
