Bow hunting on bellows is by invitation and Lowry lottery only; usually happens around October, if it even happens at all.
Your best bet is the Pali, kahana valley and Kuli'ou'ou for public grounds. Download Google earth, then download the DLNR hunting maps to import into Google earth.

Well that sucks. Is hunting anywhere without dogs even worth it?

Its not as easy, but it definitely worth it.
The problem is that lots of dog hunters hunt authorized and unauthorized areas, which makes it harder for spot and stalk or stand hunters.
Your best bet is to find a private land owner or business that will let you hunt on their land. Second would be to hunt deep into the public areas, as the pigs are smarter and more likely to avoid people.

How do you do this? The dnlr hunting map is just a jpeg or something? This seems like it would be pretty helpful
