Title: Hunting & Fishing Day 2018
Post by: zippz on August 14, 2018, 09:03:26 PM: Hawaii DLNR Hunting Fishing Day 2018 at Koko Head on Sunday September 16.

Purchase scripts to shoot guns, try archery, and learn about conservation and hunting in Hawaii. Fun for the whole family. Invite your friends, coworkers, and legislative representatives too....even the anti-gun ones.

Note: In 2019, feel free to create a new event topic instead of raising this dead topic. And Hunting & Fishing Day ≠ Shooting Sports Fair

Note #2: Technically National Hunting Fishing Day is on Sept 22nd (https://www.nssf.org/event/national-hunting-fishing-day/) but better early than late. :D

Yes, this year for NHFD(Month) we concentrating on connecting the public with the various clubs and organizations. The two main events are:
NHFD Shooting fun day September 16, 10:00-4:00 at Koko Head Shooting Complex
NHFD Archery fun day September 8, 10:00-3:00 at Kapolei Archery Range
Some of the fishing groups will be there along with some DLNR divisions in pop up tents.
Nicky’s lunch wagon will be there and hopefully Tat’s Shave Ice.

Gonna be honest...I'm concerned that they're not listing the participating clubs/activities. Crossing fingers, hoping for the best.

Post by: drck1000 on August 19, 2018, 05:13:10 PM: HRA does all .22 for the hunting and fishing days. Not sure if other groups do centerfire or not. I don’t remember either was from past years and I haven’t volunteered the past couple of years.
