Thanks goodness I just bought a pair of Wrangler cargo pants. Still got the tags attached. Wrangler fits me good and looks good too.
The cargo pockets are very useful. I had to order them online though because in Waipahu all the short leg sizes are gone.
screw Levis

Just was going to buy another pair of Levi jeans. Not anymore. I'll check out Wrangler.

All the pants I wear now are from Vertx...

The weight of jeans, especially after they become wet from rain, snow or hiking through wetlands, make them a poor choice for outdoors. They become heavy as heck, and take way too long to air dry. Always needed to pack a spare, dry pair just in case.
As I grew older, I grew out of my need for jeans. Once I was unable to eat dinner at an Officers' Club, because I didn't know jeans weren't allowed after 5pm. I believe that was in Japan. Standards.
I like the light weight 5.11 trousers. They dry quickly, and they don't act like sponges. The extra pockets also make them ideal for any work or range environment.
Levi can kiss my 5.11-/Docker-covered ass.

The Wrangler cargo pants are made of a lighter weight cotton. They are not as durable as denim, but I ain't working at a cattle ranch either. Try'em out. I think it's great value.

I still have Levi’s, but they are from like 5+ years ago. Have plenty of other choices.
I have many pairs of Vertx and used them a lot when I travel and of course at the range/training. I have a bunch of 5.11, but they are the thicker ones and too hot for Hawaii. Might give them away soon.
I want to tribe Duluth Trading pants soon, particularly the firehose version.

so where you going get your skinny jeans?
He's not allowed to wear skinny jeans. It would be considered false advertising.

Same! I've thrown away all my jeans.

I haven't worn jeans since high school, several decades ago.
I buy my work and casual wear pants at Savers for $5 to $8.

I only wear jeans for work. Before moving here in 2008 I wore Levis exclusively. They were thick denim and last a very long time. They resisted tears and fit me very well. Since moving here I prefer jeans with a lighter weight denim due to the heat and humidity. I now buy Wrangler Jeans at Wally World and Kirkland jeans at Costco. Neither fit me as well as Levis but are more comfortable in this environment. So I buy them a little more often.

I usually use the Vertx Phantom (lighter weight) pants when I travel. Super comfortable and I like having the pockets for smaller items that I like to have on me and able to put my backpack in the overhead compartment. I like that the cargo pockets on the Vertx are more streamlined and don't sort of sag away from your leg like 5.11 and other cargo pants.

Tactical kilt ftw

I grew up wearing Levis 501's
Due to an unfortunate accident
I prefer button fly's.( humor here, got part of
something stuck in a zipper once when in a hurry.)
I quit Levis when they moved offshore.
My home working pants are USMC issue
jungle MARPAT that I get from the NEX.
My dress up go to town pants are same kind
of cargo pants in black from Amazon.
Rothco or Dickies.
It is far easier to repair a button than a broken zipper.
Remember the sewing kit you had to buy in Basic,
that you had no idea how to use?
-
so where you going get your skinny jeans?
I just buy tactical 5.11 pants in a small size and squeeze in.

Tactical kilt ftw
Already got that covered!
