Title: Mace Pepper Gun as a Security Officer?

Any thoughts on Open, holstered carry of a mace gun as as a Security Officer? Would it be lawful? After hearing the Big island news, I would feel more safe with it. I wouldn't think it would be a problem since we are in uniform. Also do any places on O'ahu sell them?

Well it would be legal depending on how that specific tool works. If in uniform I doubt anyone would question why you had what looks like a real gun on the back half.

Law about "if a reasnable person would assume its a gun"

Just carry big can OC spray.
