If you are a .50 BMG reloader in Hawaii or you know of one, please send me a private message, I have a question/request.
Thanks
Nelson.

Forget their names but there's a couple who show up at the KHSC most Wednesdays. Hard to miss them. When he shoots three in a row, the island moves a couple inches.

He shoots 50bmg at KHSC?

Is he a reloader by chance? Haha
I haven't had a chance to get out there to shoot yet but, this may be a good reason.

Member suka posted pics of his custom built huge press here awhile back.

Ask around and see if any of the “old timers” can put you in touch with “Nitro” Norman. :shaka:

Write 416 barrett on the side of the gun. ;D

What is the question your asking just in case someone here might know?

Looking to get some brass resized, or at least the necks to make some inert rounds.

Never seen BMG rounds on the shelf at any gun store, but in Vegas, they're very abundant.

If it's the older guy with the Barrett I'm thinking of. I've talked to him asking the EXACT same question. He has a .100" spacer in the chamber and the 50BMG cartridge is resized and trimmed down to a .510 DTC (A European compliant work around for a 50BMG ban). It's technically not a 50BMG but fires the exact same round with just a little less powder. The best part is if he wants to, he can remove the spacer and it's chambered in 50BMG again...

You can buy once fired 50bmg from Midway or Brownells. Are you looking for someone to resize for you ? As far as I know the 50BMG ban at Koko Head is still in effect which is ridiculous as it is the only public range right now.

Own a M82 reload 50BMG. With limited access to shoot BMG prefer to shoot Factory (hunting ammo) Amax get some a OGC. Waste less ammo & time to rezero.
Resizing and priming 50 BMG isn't fun. BMG is one of the few cartridges I prefer not to reload. Used to only get 29 reloads to a pound of powder. Lol
So buying loaded ball is cheap and spend my time reloading other fun calibers i.e. 375 H&H or 454 casull (rifle and handgun) favorites.
If you do want to seriously reload BMG, MHO spend your money on best press and primer seater you can buy.
You won't regret it. Have fun.. Shooting BMG is a blast...
