Title: New to Hawaii, need doctor referral for registration

Hello all,
I have been in Hawaii for over a year (2 years if I count moving back and forth from the mainland).  I am currently trying to obtain my permit to acquire in Hawaii.  I have read forums about particular doctors to seek out that support 2a.  One of the doctors I called (recommended from this forum) said that he DOES support 2a but that he would not sign off for anyone that he doesn't know or who hasn't been a patient for a particular period of time.  Unfortunately, I rarely see doctors so I do not have a physician here in Hawaii that knows me personally. Are there any doctor recommendations for someone who is fairly new to Hawaii so that I can get this signed off? Any other suggestions?

Tell them you don’t have a doctor and be on your way.

If you do not a have a primary care physician tell them you don’t have a doctor

I do the clearances but Im on the Big Island.  If you dont have a doctor then tell them that.   If I remember the application correctly you are giving them permission to access your medical records.  If you have none here then they have nothing to access.
