Those cops are gonna be busy! I'm guessing they wouldn't even be able to follow up on all the hammer purchases alone... much less the trash and public photography. Thing is, these people are serious... and such nanny-state surveillance is the inevitable outcome of the policies proposed and voted into law by Hawaii politicians... just a matter of time.

Interesting when I read the comments on FB and watched interviews, majority blamed the driver. Little to no blame on the alcohol, probation status, the car.

Compared to is it was an active shooter, "WE MUST BAN ALL GUNS". No blame on the shooter.

No laws proposed to limit the size of a vehicle: "Why does someone need a big truck unless they show "an exceptional circumstance"". Let's ban alcohol in it's entirety, etc...No Moms Demand Action.

What the moms demanded re alcohol-involved vehicle accidents was "Mothers Against Drunk Driving"... somehow the "Mothers Against Alcohol" didn't get the traction... but with "gunz" it does. Though "Gun Sense" is a dumb as shit term.

And MADD spawned DAMM.

That said, the MADD drive to push BAC levels down to the level of thought crime has gone way too far.
