I submitted a request for Hawaii County to be declared a "Second Amendment sanctuary county" via resolution (not any actual law) to all the county council members a couple of years ago when the movement started in Illinois. You'll never guess, but I didn't get any response at all from any of the council members! Duh!  :rofl:

it'll be interesting to see if gun parts sellers (e.g. Brownells, Midway, Primary Arms, etc) will ship state-prohibited stuff to declared sanctuary counties.  I suspect not.
