this is perfectly legal, and something we need to be aware of and watch out for

from the linked article: “Gut-and-replace may be useful at times, but basic democratic principles including public involvement and fair process are more important by far,” Sen. Russell Ruderman told Civil Beat last month.

oh really?  Try telling that to Karl Rhoads.

Evil politicians should be gutted and replaced.
After "due process" of course.

Or can we enact a "red flag"/ERPO law that will accomplish this based upon "credible evidence" of someone witnessing the unlawful acts?

I would like to think that once upon a time, Mr. Donovan DelaCruz was an honest man, a fair man.  but gee whiz, as they say, "power corrupts".  my, how he has strayed from those humble origins, if he once was ...

or maybe he was always a con-man and a fraud?  and now he has an unlimited license to defraud Hawaii's citizens, ultimate power.  I would rather that the legislator had a DUI than stoop to such fraudulent depths.  What's with these guys?  is there something in their water that makes them go all Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?  can't say that the folks in Washington are any better, either.

Uphold The Constitution?  they have no idea WTF that even means anymore.

gut and replace is legal and constitutional...
If you think people in black robes sitting on an elevated dais can dictate what is and isn't "constitutional" (or more accurately, "inherent natural rights protected by the constitution") you might as well pack it in now.
