jewish cemetary featured is across the street from where my grandparents, uncles/aunts, cousins are buried and the drugs and prostitution are there too

Mrs.CMO said San Fran the same. The hotel she was at was a 5 star hotel. But right outside, zombie crackheads roaming.
Another buddy of mine said many conventions are not being held due to their homeless/drug problem. Conventiongoers not safe.

I worked in Seattle for over twenty years.
I earned my STEM degree at a Seattle university.
Rescued a heroin addict cousin from there( she always went back).
I lived 32 miles East of Seattle.
I know the area well and still have family
in the area.
Seattle is and has been infected by the same problem
that Hawaii has, Democrats, liberals, and unions.
Hawaii will end up the same as Seattle.
Same over-taxation, same crooked cops, and political Cabal.
Seattle like Honolulu dominates the state and does not represent what the state
really is. Seattle is not dying. It is the future, a dystopia, orchestrated by Democrats.
Not to be too negative, a good thing about Seattle is, Wa State is a shall issue state and
Seattle can't arbitrarily deny you the right of self protection as Hawaii
counties do. Seattle is the seat of King county.
Another is that the indigent population( Tribal nations) have casinos, and
sell decent fireworks contrary to what the Liberal Democrat tyrants
want.
And lastly Seattle has no plans to notify citizens of a
pending nuclear attack. Their roads are so crowded they figure
it would be a waste of time. Pay attention Target Oahu.

I moved away from Seattle in 2008. I don't remember seeing the rows of tents on the sidewalk like that except near the city hall on 4th Ave. The homeless mostly stayed in the Sodo area or west side of Beacon Hill. Sad...

They should move to Honolulu where it is much warmer and less rainy. Lots of open space around City Hall and the State Capitol to set up tents. Let us not forget the wide grassy areas off Kahala Ave with R-O-W to a nice beach.

I didn't realize Honolulu was that arid! Seattle has a reputation, but really isn't all that wet, it is just not very sunny most the time.
I think Seattle has more and better Homeless services than Honolulu. They also have a different culture. In the street people druggie world,
One person who works and has an apartment, opens the doors to all their friends for the night. Since they were all Heroin addicts,
they were better behaved than meth heads. I once was called to get my cousin who was having convulsions. The apartment was full of bodies
sleeping on the floor. Junkies, hookers, run-aways, you name it. Snoring away. This was like at 2 AM.
First thing in the morning they all leave so the apartment tenant can get ready for work at Nordstroms. They have a system.
Granted I dealt mostly with Heroin users. Meth users and drunks are a different story, they are the ones living
under the freeways and by city hall, they tended to be more obnoxious.

It has a great line about the lady saying she did call 911 and the police told them to vote the city council out!
I think more stringent prison but with better rehabilitation programs are what we should be focusing on. Unfortunately I think that means we need another new prison and that will mean a big cost to the taxpayers.
I keep thinking maybe we need to build new land out in the ocean. Japan does this.

I just finished watching the whole program and I see some good lessons for Honolulu.
Honolulu is trying to clean up the streets by conducting regular homeless camp sweeps.
It's a good start. The methadone clinics sounds like a good idea. I would support that.
It's better than giving out that other drug used to instantly rescue an overdosed crackhead.
Since the city has pushed the homeless away from the more affluent Honolulu areas, they just relocated to outlying areas.
Last night I walked about 2 blocks in Kalihi to get a box of fried chicken for dinner. As I walked, I noticed how shitty the area looked.
There was trash all over the streets and homeless people scattered around. This got me to thinking that the homeless problem is kind of like trying to get rid of weeds in your lawn. You can cut the tops but the root is still there. If the state comes down on the dealers really hard, it would force a lot of crackheads to clean up.

I would have to find it but someone did do a study of the heroin OD reversal drug expecting to find it showed how many more lives were saved but they actually found that it correlated with more overdoses. Users would take more risks believing they could be revived.

I'd call 911 for him/her and wait for help.
I'd do the same for any animal that needed medical assistance.
As far as first aid goes? Not touching anyone OD-ing if I don't know where they've been!

It is amazing what a bad penny can do.
I have friends and relatives living in Washington state. Some are too old to pack up and move out.
Property values are tanking. I have one relative who was living in a nice quiet area that will soon
be defiled by a huge low income housing project built within walking distance of her community.
There is also a Somali enclave where the police do not dare to enter.
