Title: Suggest a dataset for data.hawaii.gov

I find it ironic that data.hawaii.gov has a category for "individual rights" but it is empty  ;)

Suggest the state have live data on something like "number of active firearm carry permits" here

I tried but only State employees can make suggestions

They're correct at leaving it empty.  Because we do not have the 2A right outside our residence/business.
