Cpt Obvious to the rescue again!
Oh yeah definitely like the UK. Plastic knives and everything. We can also lock up people just for thinking about using a knife, right?!

many gun grabbers/anti 2A refer to Japan how almost everyone doesn't have a gun. But what they don't realize is it's the culture, not the gun.
In Japan, you can leave your purse/laptop/phone on a table at a coffee shop or other place and go take a 20 minute dump and it will be there when you come back. That's why the Shirokiya Village had lots of purse thieves until they got more security. Every time I would eat there I would see HPD talking to the Jap woman who got her purse stolen. She left it on the table and went to get her food.
Lets also not forget about the Fukushima thing. The people were waiting in line for food and water. No looting like during Katrina, where the guy is stealing a TV.
So again, it's the culture, not the gun. So to a degree, yes a gun isn't needed as much in Japan due to their lower crime rates. But we are not in Japan, so we need a gun here.
IIRC during the migrant invasions in the UK, Japan let in only 3 of them. 2 of them ended up raping someone shortly after. Japan has closed borders. No one called the Japs racist.

I went to a department store in Tokyo, and my friend pointed to an umbrella stand by the front entrance. It wasn't raining then, but in the stand was a lone, old, dust-covered umbrella. He explained how that umbrella had been there for over 10 years -- at least as long as he's been going to that store. Someone left it, and the store keeps it there in case the owner returns to claim it however unlikely.
"If it's not yours, don't touch it." Words my mother instilled in me -- and we aren't even close to being Japanese.
"Finders keepers, losers weepers," is the slogan most of the last two generations seem to have learned. That, and, "It's not illegal if you don't get caught."

Interesting video, finally got to watch it. I'm willing to bet that guy at the end, if he ever comes to the USA, he will be at the range shooting a gun. See plenty tourist at the gun clubs. Mailing Japs.
