Here is Democrat presidential wannabe Kamala Harris scrambling to keep afloat by joining the mandatory compensated confiscation band wagon. You'll notice at the end of that particular question/answer while all the other college students (mostly females) are wildly applauding and screaming, the male student who asked the question about (using air quotes) "assault weapons" sits silently stone faced. She "defined" "assault weapon" as "a weapon of war" made to "kill lots of people quickly". Does that include the firearms used in the most deadly school shooting, Virginia Tech (handguns)?
I hope Harris will tell us how she knows there are "2 million" "assault weapons" "on the streets", since the NSSF estimates 16 million... and I seriously doubt that that estimate includes all the lowers and 80% lowers that have been sold. She also says she will ban them from being "imported"... uh, duh, if you ban possession (and obviously sale) how could anyone be importing them?

The party of identity politics seems to attract, and support, the exact opposite "image" they pretend they desire.
She's basically saying the Democrats hate her for her Black ethnicity, when she's NOT. Her father is a Jamaican immigrant, and her mother is from India. She grew up in White neighborhoods and attended mostly-White schools before college.
She poses as Black because the Left's identity politics offer her an advantage for doing so.
America doesn't care about "Woman", "Man", "Black", "White", etc. when electing a President. They are interested in a LEADER. Everything else is window dressing.
Obama was elected twice based mostly on his race, partly because Romney tanked. Not a mistake many are willing to repeat so soon afterward -- not after Trump's successes.

Hillary spent more than double what Trump spent. Unless you're buying the other candidate's staffers' cooperation, there's not much money can do to someone like Trump.
He manipulated the media into giving him 24/7 free coverage. Remember that time when Trump was in the middle of the General Election campaign, he invited the press for a major announcement about Obama's place of birth? Everyone was expecting him to present some secret info to push the birther conspiracy. Instead, he said, "Obama was born in the US," and went on to promote his new Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C..
